I offer a breadth of knowledge and experience in the Dance sector. Trained at Bird College under the leadership of Doreen Bird I travelled the world with a diverse performing career.
Benefiting from the Dance Teacher mentoring programme from One Dance UK in 2014 I have continued my exploration into the art of dance teaching and continually strive to develop my practice.
I have proven success in technical advancement and artistic development teaching at a variety of vocational schools. I am enthusiastic about partnerships and have experience in curriculum design and implementation.
With vision for future growth and encouragement for others, I am passionate about developing the whole person and exploring motivation.
TEACHER & MENTOR
I teach full time at the BRIT School and also manage a vibrant freelance portfolio teaching young dancers, students and coaching aspiring professionals. I mentor teachers and delight in being a small part of their journey to enhancing their skills.
WORKSHOPS & IMPERIAL SOCIETY OF TEACHERS OF DANCING
I enjoy delivering free Jazz, Ballet and Creative workshops. My Jazz style has a theatrical influence and I am skilled in delivering Ballet technique especially to late starters.
Working under the banner of the ISTD I have been invited to teach for the Janet Cram Awards and Open Days in London and Manchester. I am also privileged to be part of the R&D team for the the new Contemporary Syllabus.
I am an ISTD tutor for aspiring teachers on the Diploma in Dance Education and have mentored on the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy.
I also offer talks on progression routes and making the most of a freelance career for dance schools and their senior students.

I am passionate about offering encouraging, useful feedback and making every dancer feel valued through the competitive dance experience. I relish the opportunity to see dancers share their work and I strive to add value to every presentation. I give encouraging and constructive feedback that could be applied in the rehearsal studio.
I appreciate and value my position especially having danced in festivals as a young dancer myself. It is an honour to be in a position to offer inspiration to young performers.
I am also elected to the Adjudicators Council for BIFF.
I first met Jodie as my teacher when I was 15 years old. If you step foot into Jodie's class, you will receive the best training available. In 2019 I invited Jodie to teach at my event 'Mayoral Training Program'. I have absolutely no doubt that anyone who is fortunate enough to be in her presence and learn from her will receive incredible training and experiences.
