I offer a breadth of knowledge and experience in the Dance sector. Trained at Bird College under the leadership of Doreen Bird I travelled the world with a diverse performing career.

Benefiting from the Dance Teacher mentoring programme from One Dance UK in 2014 I have continued my exploration into the art of dance teaching and continually strive to develop my practice.

I have proven success in technical advancement and artistic development teaching at a variety of vocational schools. I am enthusiastic about partnerships and have experience in curriculum design and implementation.

With vision for future growth and encouragement for others, I am passionate about developing the whole person and exploring motivation.

I enjoy delivering free Jazz, Ballet and Creative workshops. My Jazz style has a theatrical influence and I am skilled in delivering Ballet technique especially to late starters.

Working under the banner of the ISTD I have been invited to teach for the Janet Cram Awards and Open Days in London and Manchester. I am also privileged to be part of the R&D team for the the new Contemporary Syllabus.

I am an ISTD tutor for aspiring teachers on the Diploma in Dance Education and have mentored on the Level 6 Diploma in Dance Pedagogy.

I also offer talks on progression routes and making the most of a freelance career for dance schools and their senior students.

British and International Federation of Festivals & All England Dance

I am passionate about offering encouraging, useful feedback and making every dancer feel valued through the competitive dance experience. I relish the opportunity to see dancers share their work and I strive to add value to every presentation. I give encouraging and constructive feedback that could be applied in the rehearsal studio.

I appreciate and value my position especially having danced in festivals as a young dancer myself. It is an honour to be in a position to offer inspiration to young performers.

I am also elected to the Adjudicators Council for BIFF.

I first met Jodie as my teacher when I was 15 years old. If you step foot into Jodie's class, you will receive the best training available. In 2019 I invited Jodie to teach at my event 'Mayoral Training Program'.  I have absolutely no doubt that anyone who is fortunate enough to be in her presence and learn from her will receive incredible training and experiences.

I would not be where I am today in my professional dance career without the support, dedication and encouragement from Jodie Clark. She prepared me for nothing short of professional training for a professional career. Growing and developing as an aspiring young, black, female artist with Jodie’s generosity, knowledge and love (for dancing and her students) is something I will hold forever.’
